What is Happening:

Public Meeting to Support Solar Thermal in Port Augusta
Australians have an unrivalled opportunity to take a significant step towards a low carbon future by replacing Port Augusta’s ageing coal-fired power stations with state-of-the-art solar thermal with storage. (www.repowerportaugusta.org)

This meeting will explain what, when, why and how we can do it.

Gary Rowbottom – Port Augusta power worker

Mark Ogge – Beyond Zero Emissions (technical feasibility)
Canberra walker – Charlie Wood &/or Marty O’Hare &/or Philippa

Followed by the political parties commenting on how Canberra would tackle the challenge.
