Transforming recycled copper into beautiful ornaments

Annie Storey is a Canberra based coppersmith who works exclusively with reclaimed copper to make a range of water features, garden sculptures, wall flowers and decorative ornaments.

She uses old copper boilers, hot water systems, water tanks, used solar panels, guttering, pipes from old gas and oil heaters and refrigerators and electrical wire.

All of the off cuts are kept and taken back to the scrap merchant where they are melted down and reused again.

Annie sends her work all over the country and all of the boxes and other packaging she uses are recycled also.

Annie will also participate in Green Savvy Sunday at the Old Bus Depot Markets in Kingston on Sunday 16 September.
