If you are interested in growing your own food or sourcing local produce, then why not join the Canberra City Farm on a tour of the National Environment Centre?

On Sunday 14 April between 12.30-4.30pm, the Canberra City Farm members and supporters are going on a tour of the National Environment Centre in Thurgoona, on the outskirts of Albury.
The National Environment Centre is an educational facility of the Riverina
TAFE located on a 182 hectare organic farm, which is used to develop and trial sustainable farming techniques and teaching. It is a working farm and is designed to permaculture principles. More information about the farm is available at: necorganicfarm.riverinainstitute.wikispaces.net.

The cost of the event is free for Canberra City Farm members or $25 for non-members (which includes membership with Canberra City Farm to July 2014)Car-sharing will also be arranged for the day to ensure costs are kept to a minimum.

We need 15 participants for the tour to proceed, so please rsvp to:
