What is Happening:

The Canberra Environment Centre is organising this workshop as part of its Canberra Carbon Challenge and SustainAbility workshop series.

Learn the basics of making your own kimchi in this hands-on workshop! You will get your very own batch of napa cabbage kimchi to take hom. Kimchi is a traditional Korean spicy fermented pickle. It is a great probiotic and is extremely rich in vitamins. It is also super delicious on its own or may be used in a wide variety of dishes such as kimchi fried rice or kimchi pizza. A great way to preserve all those excess winter cabbages from your veggie patch, and a great gift for Christmas! Participants will be required to bring their own air-tight glass jar.

The cost is $10 for Carbon Challenge Participants / $15 for the General Public.
