What is Happening:
Friends of Mt Majura ParkCare group invite the public to join a tree and shrub planting party. We will extend our National Tree Day 2009 plantings with shrubs and trees raised from locally collected seeds. The planting site is located along a major drainage line within endangered ecological community yellow box - red gum grassy woodland close to a high conservation area that provides habitat for ringtail possums, sugar gliders, Gang-Gang Cockatoos and rare and endangered visitors to the mountain, the Swift parrots.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
Please wear appropriate clothing: Hat, enclosed shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants.
Please bring gloves, a bucket and a digging tool such as a garden trowel or mattock if you have one. Some tools and buckets will be provided.
