Description of Services:
The following recycling services are available at the Department of Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) Mitchell Resource Management Centre:
- Paper and cardboard;
- Glass jars and bottles;
- Rigid plastic containers;
- Milk and juice cartons;
- Aluminium and steel cans, including empty aerosols;
- Fire extinguishers;
- fluorescent lights;
- Mobile phones;
- Car batteries;
- Motor oil (

- Cooking oil (limit of 10 litres per customer);
- Paint (limit of 10 litres per customer);
- Gas cylinders; and
- White goods;
- Computers ( charges apply);
- Reusables Facility (open 7 days a week 7.30 am – 5.00pm for acceptance and sale of goods. Only goods with resale value will be accepted and acceptance of goods is at the discretion of staff member on duty)
If you want to bring unsorted waste to Mitchell Resource Management Centre, charges will apply.
