This car was intended to sell for about $US2000 originally and now is about $US2500, I believe. Does anyone know if import restrictions have been put on this vehicle because it does not comply with Australian manufacturing standards?

Tata Industries (India) intends to bring out an electric version and displayed a non-production model in 2010 at Geneva
