Check out this article on trials of driverless buses in Greece and Singapore.

Besides the entry of Uber car sharing in Canberra, perhaps driverless buses would also provide opportunities in the future for supplementing existing bus routes with smaller buses that can bring passengers from outer suburban areas to the main bus routes?
