The Climate Factory is a social enterprise established in 2019 to help people in the Canberra region adapt to a hotter climate using micro-forests. 

Micro-forests are dense pockets of vegetation that provide essential ecosystem services like:

  • increase tree canopy
  • increase cooling 
  • provide wildlife habitat
  • absorb carbon. 

Their 2025 VISION is to plant 100,000 trees and shrubs in the Canberra region.
