Hi all,
Spring is here and now is a great time to get started with growing your own produce this Summer, and reading up on living lower impact lifestyles in Canberra and Surrounding areas…
In conjunction with the recent
Canberra City News article, Everyday Eco in the ACT is having a
Spring Give Away! You can win a
Grow Your Own Starter Pack, with an Organic Gardening magazine, a handy Organic Gardening mini guide Book, 3 packs of Cornucopia seeds, which can be grown in pots or garden beds (Cherry Tomato, Apple Cucumber and Looseleaf Lettuce) and some jiffy pots and labels to start you off.
To enter, you just need to do one, or all, of the free and easy ways to keep updated with blog posts on Everyday Eco in the ACT! (More information can be found on the
blog post). Then leave a comment on the blog, letting us know how many you did, and you will receive that amount of entries! The winner will be randomly drawn on Saturday 11th September, and we can arrange free postage (within Australia) or pick up/ drop off… perhaps from the upcoming
Permablitz on Sunday 12th September, where you can learn more about sustainable gardening and growing your own.
If anyone is interested in contributing to the blog, please email me. For those who were involved in the Urban Homesteaders Club, or anyone else interested, there are
Woden SEE Change workshops and events, of a similiar nature…
Have a great Spring, and please enter our give away, or I'll have even more seeds to grow this season! Cheers, Dixiebelle
