I wasn't sure where to post this link & was a little hesitant about its relevance to the audience for this website. Anyhow, Erin Brokovich seems to be adding her international profile to the presence of Australian lawyers and legal experts who can assist individuals or communities pursue environmental justice. This is likely to be less of an issue in the ACT, given how small our territory is and reliant on 'services' industries particularly those that have sprung up to support the Australian federal public service. We're not the home of much industry…although I must say I do get concerned about the over development in this town which is a source of tension regarding maintaining the natural landscape. Nevertheless, nice to see this occuring. May be of interest to the budding environmental lawyers out there!
