Windlab’s Coonooer Bridge Wind Farm (CBWF) has commenced generating its first renewable energy as part of the ACT Government’s 90% by 2020 Renewable Energy Target. The 6 turbine, 19.4 MW project will power over 11,250 Canberra homes under a 20 year Feed- In-Tariff contract awarded to Windlab in February last year.

Located North West of Bendigo, Victoria, the CBWF is partly owned by landholders neighbouring the project – the first renewable energy project in the country with an ownership structure that includes the local farming community in this way.

Asset and operations will be managed from Windlab’s global headquarters in Canberra.
