It's great to hear about the Federal Government's new clean energy innovation fund.
Apparently it will be funded with an annual allocation of $100 million from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation over each of the next ten years.

It will not disburse grants but instead offer a mix of innovative equity and debt products.

The new body will commence operations as early as July, and will occupy a role between the existing CEFC and Australian Renewable Energy Agency – filling a gap by providing equity and debt financing to projects designed to return a profit, and which have not been eligible for funding to date under the models of the CEFC and ARENA.
