National Recycling Week is run by Planet Ark and this year has three types of activiities:
- Promoting community re-use and recycling initiatives, particularly through Swap Parties as part of the Big Aussie Swap.
- Increasing the number of businesses and workplaces involved in recycling, mainly through the promotion of the Friday File Fling.
- Improving the understanding of kerbside recycling, mainly through an educative Recycle Right Quiz hosted on Recycle Right Quiz hosted on http://www.recyclingweek.planetark.org
From the Planet Ark website, it looks like the only nearby Swap Party is in Queanbeyan on Saturday 14 November (see also http://canberra.climatexchange…..swap-party).
Does anyone know if there are any activities here in Canberra?
