Nike Shoes runs a program called Nike's reuse a shoe program, where they take all unwanted shoes from all over the world, grind them down into what they like to call 'grind' which is then used as a base for basketbal and tennis courts and even childrens playgrounds.

 The nearest drop off location for the program is at Sportsmans warehouse fyshwick.
