Hi There,

Does anyone know where can I recycle my old rechargeable batteries?  Does it cost money?

What about Alkaline batteries?

Thanks in advance

Haydn

Hi Haydn,

I've dropped off batteries to Battery World in the past for recycling. I just called them to check about rechargable batteries and they said they recycle them too. For small numbers of batteries they don't charge a fee but if they receive business-scale amounts of batteries for recycling they charge a fee of $5 per kilo.

Battery World is at 95 Grenville Court, Phillip, in Canberra. Phone number 131760
