This is a good spot to kick off the conversation about what is happening with the Canberra Region and the Transition Towns Initiative
Can someone give a quick update on what this is all about?

A number of groups have now completed the Transition Towns Training courses held in Canberra over the last month or two, and momentum is building in this group.
The Transition Town initiative provides a framework which can connect existing sustainability groups into community wide objectives. One key aspect is to develop an energy reduction roadmap.
A forum has now been created to allow people to discuss any of the issues. see The Transition Canberra Forum

Hi Dixiebelle,
The Transition Towns Canberra group is still going and I'm following up with a couple of people in the group to fiind out when they will next meet.
John has also set up a separate forum topic on Transition Canberra on climateXchange where he has provided some information on the meeting of the group in late April.
