(I joined last night and thought I'd posted this, but hasn't appeared… I'll try again!)

I am Bec, one of the organisers of a new playgroup with an eco-focus, for local families who are trying to live lower impact lifestyles. We have play dates on weekdays (usually every second Thursday, at the moment) and some weekend day family outings too.

It is free to join in, no rosters and no obligations. BYO morning tea and picnic blanket. Whether you are already trying to live as sustainably as you can, or want to know more, come and meet people in your local area, let the kids play, while we chat and form a network of supportive friends. Don’t feel embarrassed if your baby or child isn’t in cloth nappies, or you don’t have organic morning tea, or your clothes aren’t made from organic hemp… you’ll find a diverse group of everyday people, willing to learn and share, not judgements or eco-snobs!
