What is Happening:
This Open Day will be a wonderful day out in a picturesque natural setting.
Families will enjoy lots of fun activities and entertainment at the Nature Discovery Playground. Stage entertainment features the Great Aussie Bush Show, The Jukes, Indigenous dancing and artefacts and family races.
There will be free shuttle buses to take you to the feature sites in the reserve with stops at the fabulous Wildlife Sanctuary, Discovery Playground, the Ribbon Gum Theatre, Rock Valley Homestead and the Turkey Hill Event Parking Area.
Access to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve will be free for the day.
Where is it On?:
Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is located off Tidbinbilla Road, which can be reached by:
- taking the Cotter Road from Weston Creek then the Paddy’s River Road;
- using Point Hut Road from Gordon; or
- going along Tidbinbilla Road from Tharwa.
