Electric Vehicle Festival coming up on 1 December

The annual Canberra International Electric Vehicle Festival is coming up soon. At a new venue in City Walk in Civic on 1 December, it will be a great opportunity to see the latest electric vehicles and witness exciting developments in electric vehicle technology here in Canberra.

You’ll be able to check out electric vehicles of all shapes and sizes, drive an electric car or go for a ride, and see the new infrastructure technology and services for electric cars.

With free entry, and plenty of food and entertainment throughout the day, the 2012 Canberra International Electric Vehicle Festival will be an event not to be missed.

The 2012 Canberra International Electric Vehicle Festival is a joint initiative of CanberraEV (Australian Electric Vehicle Association Inc.) and the ACT Electric Vehicle Council Inc.

The festival will feature exhibits and activities including:

  • Electric vehicle infrastructure & services
  • Commercially available electric vehicles including cars, motor bikes, utility vehicles, boats, public transport vehicles, bicycles, personal mobility vehicles and special purpose vehicles
  • Electric vehicle conversions (commercial & DIY)
  • Concept & prototype electric vehicles
  • Historical electric vehicles
  • Electric vehicle-related sustainable development
  • Electric vehicle technology research & development
  • Electric motor sport
  • Electric vehicle-related education and childrens activities
  • Coming soon – information about individual exhibitors and activities
