What is Happening:

The annual Corinbank Festival aims to create an event that assists the growth of the local music and arts communities, as well as exposes people to new ideas, and helps expose the beautiful Brindabellas and the talents of Canberra to new audiences. And to leave no trace.

Corinbank 2010 features a fantastic line-up of music over the three days of the festival, as well as hosting a huge range of art displays, performance art, and activities ranging from the adrenaline-pumping to the artistic, from the exciting to the sublime. We open our arms to you, your ideas, your participation and a stellar array of artists, starting on Friday 26 Feb 2010 for a weekend you are unlikely to forget. What part of your imagination will you bring along for the ride?

See the Program at http://www.corinbank.com/program2010.html

Gates open at noon on Friday 26 Feb 2010. Arrive early to avoid traffic. The festival wraps up on Sunday evening at 8pm, but you’re welcome to camp until noon the next day. For those who want to carpool, there is a carpooling forum at http://www.corinbank.com/corinboard/viewforum.php?f=6

No bicycles are allowed on-site. Open flame devices, glass containers or alcohol are NOT allowed through the gate. Searches will occur at the entrance for glass containers and contraband.

Camping for 3-day tickets is free. Hot showers, free. Under 16s, free (+$5 BF). Don’t forget the 110m waterslide. With around 2,000 people, Corinbank is an annual 3-day, all-ages celebration of art, music, culture and people. Corinbank is 40 minutes from Canberra City, but feels like it’s a million miles away.

NOTE: Day tickets do not include camping.
