The Canberra Nature Park is so important to many Canberrans as it allows everyone to escape and experience our local wildlife. The Office of the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment Dr Maxine Cooper is running an investigation into Canberra Nature Park to help inform efforts to monitor and protect the reserves. Maxine Cooper will talk about the investigation at this month’s forum. Also speaking will be Sarah Sharp who will talk about how she is going about her research into the condition and function of the reserves and Steve Welch from Southern ACT Catchment Group to outline some of the key points from their submission to the Commissioner for Sustainability and the Environment. The talks will then be followed by questions and discussion.
