What is Happening:
The Australian National Botanic Gardens is hosting a one day environment festival on Sunday 14 March 2010.
The goals of the festival are:
- to provide the public with an opportunity to gather information about Australian plants, and how to design and plant sustainable gardens suitable for Canberra’s unique environment
- to encourage residents to think about how they might live more sustainably
- to provide a one stop experience for plants, garden workshops and demonstrations
Activities will include arts and crafts, games, planting activities, gardening and greening workshops as well as exhibits by earth-friendly organisations and vendors. Food and entertainment will be provided.
