What is Happening:
This event is part of the Australian Science Festival.
What do you envisage when someone mentions the future? In the seventies and eighties people thought that by now we would have flying cars and teleportation. But the reality is a lot more unimaginative. If we only look a few years into the future what possible forms of transport are lying in wait? With a looming peak oil crisis, how do electric cars fit into the idea of an upcoming “transport revolution”?
Join ABC Radio National Life Matters’ Richard Aedy, Bernie Hobbs and others for an in depth and entertaining forum about the future of transportation and the role of electric cars.
